About

Answering a Personal Calling
2dxEver since I was a child, I have felt a personal calling to help others – including family members and friends, colleagues and acquaintances, and sometimes even complete strangers!

I have never been motivated by self-interest or personal gain. Rather, I simply feel that I was born to help others in a loving and non-judgmental way; sometimes just by listening to them with compassion and acceptance.

Inspired by this innate ability and energized by the idea of making the “art and science of helping others” my life’s work, I decided to pursue formal training in psychotherapy, career counselling and life coaching, and began working directly with clients in 2006. Since that time, I have worked very closely with hundreds of clients, and have witnessed incredible, life-changing results!

Academic and Training Background

I hold a BSc Degree in Psychology (Honours), along with certifications in psychotherapy, career counselling, and life coaching, respectively, from recognized Canadian institutions. I am also qualified to administer and interpret several career and psychological tests, including the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). On top of this, I am a relentless “lifelong learner,” and continue to upgrade my skills and knowledge.

Guiding Clients on the Narrow Bridge to Transformation

While I am deeply honored to share in my clients’ joy and healing, I never lose sight of the fundamental truth that lasting success is dependent on their efforts and commitment. I promise to do my very best and work as hard as possible, but my clients ultimately decide how far they go, and what they achieve.

The bridge to healing and well-being is narrow; and it is one that we all must cross on our own. However, with this in mind, my clients can depend on me to serve as their compassionate, reliable and trusty guide who gently ushers them forward at a pace, and in the direction, that is best for them.

Committed to Professional and Proven Methods

I am very passionate about my work — and this includes being deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality at all times. I also believe that that while it is vital to have an open mind and constantly learn new theories and approaches, there is no substitute for proven and effective methods. As such, my clients can expect competence as well as compassion; not one instead of the other.

Creating a Safe, Judgment-Free Environment

I realize that the journey towards healing and well being is intimate and private –and at times, it may be temporarily uncomfortable or even scary. That is why I create an environment that is safe, accepting, warm, supportive and judgment-free. My role is never to enforce my opinions or implement my agenda. Rather, it is to deeply understand my clients’ challenges and goals, and gently guide them towards their own solutions.
